I don't want to post too many pictures of the cottage as it is well worth visiting to see for oneself. But I did want to share at least this one room. This is where the Roosevelt boys were tutored over the Summer. That's right, amongst the staff the Roosevelt's brought with them (some were local too) was a tutor for their boys! My Mom used to do something similar with my brothers and I when we were home for the Summer. I have a lot of fond memories of those lessons and credit them with helping me to do better in the long run.
