Maine Vacation Day 5 - Katahdin from the Pond
After we finished our hike we drove to Daicey Pond and rented a canoe for an hour. The pond was not that large and we were able to canoe all around it without really exerting ourselves. But the pond provided gorgeous views of the mountain and so I took this picture.
Sadly, we neither saw nor heard any wildlife while out on the pond.
