And here we look at the top falls from the side. There were lots of places along the trail to scramble over rocks and through trees. I took the opportunity to snap this photo.

After this we headed back down the trail. One day we'll come back and hike to the top of Katahdin. But we need a little bit more conditioning before we attempt something as strenuous as that!
