"03:00 in the morning. Nature calls, and you have to wake up for a bathroom break... only to find this 1,3 mts tall shortie trying to get into the bathroom with you. XD"
Namys are clingy creatures. They won't leave you alone. Not even on bathroom breaks.
A little sketch i made for fun. (based on a meme i saw on FB)
Namy, the tabby lion, belongs to me

In all honesty he's almost a toddlecat. I found him at about 12 weeks when a feral cat lead him over to me in my work parking lot on a freezing cold night. The older feral cat was old enough to fend for her self but he immediately ran over and sat on my shoe crying for help. He was clearly abandoned by his owner, not feral. He started purring as soon as I picked him up, felt how cold he was. So being the maternal creature that I am I held him until he was warm and fed him some milk from the kitchen, and brought him home when my shift was over. To the fury of my brother's cat.
He's about 18 weeks now. And the problem isn't that he bites, or pounces, it's that he bites hard and tugs, that he grabs with his claws, not his paws. When he loses access to his new mommy (me) because he's playing too rough, it teaches him to play less rough... it's starting to work. He nips and swipes but is being more gentle. I tend to like mouthy kitties as long as they aren't too aggressive.
I said I'm his new mommy, what I mean is if I lay on my side he runs to me and begins sucking on my shirt and kneading like at a mama cat. It leaves me covered in kitten spit but it makes him feel safe and after being abandoned in want him to know that won't happen again... I just have a maternal nature is all... just looking at that one pic of you in your girlfriend's shirt makes me want to pick you up and carry you around n.n but I doubt that would be appreciated. Ollie isn't great with being picked up either, he actually won't let anyone else do it besides me.

oh, thanks for sharing. that's ultra cute and adorable
Is hard to not switch into mama mode with little kiiten, they are so cute, tiny and pure. Specially when they act all clingy and afectionate, it can melt any heart (Is super common to find people that's like "I used to not like or care about cats.. but then this kitty appeared and..." XD)
We have 3 cats here (two 6yrs old and a kitten of 6 months) and i can totally relate. The oldest and littlest one are the cliengiest things i've ever seen. Beautifull animals.
About picking up Namy. The shortie loves being held and picked up. He's super shy and won't admit it, so is better to gain his trust first, so you can get purrings in return.
Our kitties don't usually like being picked up either. they love the attention, but you know how most cats are. They have their boundaries set and usually know how to comunicate they needs and dislikes. So, Is easy to know the when's, the how's and the what's of you kitty if you pay attention.
