Thank you cousin ^W^ As for the bandages, he actually makes it a very important point never to have them off in public. The reason is as follows; The guy who gave the scars to him (Shao Tsing)was the last true master of the "Iron Jaws" fatal martial art, and the marks on master Santoku's head and neck are the only remaining record of how the art was performed(since Shao never let anyone record his matches and his son Ryo was not old enough to learn the Iron Jaws by the time of his defeat/death by Santoku). So long as no one gets to see the map of scars left on Santoku the aforementioned martial art will cease to exist and most likely the Tsing family will never have the means to take power again, and that is exactly what Santoku wishes for.

They would indeed try, if Santoku didn't have a dojo full of students as well as a network of friends among those who used to be ruled by the Tsing family ^o^
