Please excuse the crappy photo, I drew this on paper too large to scan so I had to take a picture of it. Anyway, due to an increase in complaints, I'm just going to put down that yes, I was inspired by Brett Booth's art. There, happy? Anyway, off my soapbox.
This is a picture I whipped up today. I just got into the drawing mood and went with it. I really wanted to do something Irish...or rather something vaguely Irish. The wolf is wielding a weapon called a Gallowglass sword, a.k.a. an Irish Ring sword (because of the pommel). It's been a while since I've done anything with scars, so I thought I'd throw some on there. I made his pupil too large so he doesn't look as ferocious as I'd originally intended :(. I may color this one, but I don't know. I'm rather fond of this character, so he'll more than likely show up again :).

A GALLOWGLASS ANTHRO?! YOU...OWN... O.O
I myself am roughly half scottish and half Irish and find my celtic ancestry ENDLESSLY fascinating. In fact I carry my mother's last name in place of my father's (who is Irish American) because my ailing grampappy requested that his grandson's carry on the "honorable" name. I won't reveal it, but I'll drop you a hint and say it's one of the septs of the OLDEST and (apparently) most honorable of scottish highland clans, Clann Donnachaidh. Anywho...I'm rambling. I do that. Long story short I LOVE this pic and think it would be insanely epic with color and shading. Also this makes my mouth water at the concept of a medieval celtic comic series starring anthro characters... O.O
So...bravo...you rule. Also You've earned a new watcher. ^.^

Well thanks for the glowing affection ;)
I'm afraid I can't claim too much Scottish, but there's some in there. I'm mostly Irish with a bit of everything else I guess XD
I'm hoping to do a revamp of this piece because there are some anatomical things I'd like to change as well as going in and shading it. My coloring skills aren't the best and it always takes me so long to do it that it's pretty few and far between that I'll color anything.
