And the 2 friends are trying to get to the beach, But how can they when they're much bigger than the mountains themselves?

The quiet life in the countryside was cut by ever increasing tremors in the morning. The quakes increased in strength until the small village was cast in a dreadful shadow, and the people barely had time to flee from their homes before a massive foot came down with a mighty thoom, pulverizing the village and forever altering the landscape. Many more such witnesses to the trail of the two giants followed in their wake and Dusk and Thorn made their way across the land to the sea. And if observed diligently (or from above), one could notice slow but gradual increase in the size of the gigantic footprints. The two were still growing. And try as they might to be careful and not step on inhabited areas, they were now so big that it was impossible for them to see the smaller settlements. And the land was very densely populated...
Air boomed from the force of Dusk's curses as he noticed on having stepped on yet another city.
"Dammit! These things are everywhere! Were there always this many cities around here!?"
Thorn Heart seemed very casual in his approach, holding his upper arms behind his head in a carefree manner, looking around the landscape as he went by.
"You know, I think 'around here' has changed quite a bit for us since yesterday..." Thorn attempted to look chill, as he always did, but Dusk knew very well that the wanton destruction they caused even with their best efforts was bothering him too.
"I know..." Dusk sighed. "I just wish I could walk more than two steps without having to watch out for a big city or something..."
"Yeah, well... being as we are now, I suppose its something we have to deal with," Thorn said, focusing his attention to the ocean at the horizon. "Its not nice, but being gigantic like this, it can't really be helped with. Let's just try to enjoy this while it lasts. After all, we seem to just be growing instead of things calming down. These mountains barely reach our ankles now..."
"I suppose you are right, "said Dusk with a shrug. "Well, in that case, last one at the beach is a rotten egg!"
Dusk then takes of to a spring, dashing towards the blue waters. He decided that he'll stop being sorry for his size for now. I mean.. what will the people do? He was a damn giant!"
"Hey!" Thorn shouted after him, being caught completely off-guard. He ran after his friend, and the two raced cheerfully towards the sea, eager to splash into the cool, relaxing waves. But what would happen then? The two were all over the news by now. The entire world knew of their existence."
