Had the great urge to draw my mouse girl again. I've come to determine that Marigold is involved in gymnastics, so I wanted to draw her in a situation that reflects that, hence the leotard and the stretching pose. By the look of things, it doesn't seem that she has much trouble in pulling such a stretch off.
I was bouncing back and forth on whether to color this, as I wasn't sure if the lineart looked better to me. But, I wanted to get her colors down, so I went ahead on did that. Took me a few tries with her fur colors to get the right type of light brown. But now, I feel it's where I want it to be, and that cute blue outfit really goes with her fur and hair ^^

Thanks! He's probably a few years older than Marigold is meant to be, but they tend to start young so he most likely started around the same age she did. I wonder if they'd get along and be friends!
That'd be adorable, seeing her practicing and socializing with all of her other young teammates. And I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up as one of the best in the class, certainly one of the most enthusiastic.

I haven't entirely decided yet, but he's definitely in his teens so he's a bit older than Marigold, but he's very sweet (albeit a little shy) and good with kids so I'd imagine they'd get along great.
And he also tends to wear leotards and do the girl's events, so I bet she'd get a kick out of that.
