Mekuzu (one of  pkmnKeaton OCs) always seemed to have an eye for Okui and her personality to the point where she gets a lot of affection from him and vise versa (aka, Lover's syndrome for both). But more interestingly, he finds his gf's species very interesting and wondered for the longest time on how to be a manachi. Funnily enough, when Okui spoke about turning me into a manachi, it seemed a bit too good to be true. I am a living proof that she did turn me into one so Meku asked a request from her to turn him into one. Okui wasn't really all that confident at turning him into one as he was her love partner. That and she only was able to turn me into one due to her being blinded by anger. She never really used her beam to turn anyone into another species so this was new territory to control. But Meku trusted her despite what could happen and hey if she had turned him into food, at least she'd get something out of it right?

She looked back to how upset she was before with me and attempted to use that concentration she had to perform the zap. In one go, it actually worked. She was having a sigh of relief when she knew she didn't have to do it again. But maybe she might have to again in the future. Who knows? Now they just needed a way for Meku to be able to turn back. Luckily Melly was able to help with that as she had both herself or one of her scientists at her hive reverse the effects of the chocolate beam effect and allow Mekuzu to use both forms at will.
