Of the ones I've seen so far, I think this is the most striking example of how fascinating it can be when I tell you to just draw whatever for their clothing and then see what you actually come up with. This is a perfectly valid outfit (there is absolutely nothing in the story so far that says anything about what he's wearing one way or the other, so this could easily work) yet, for whatever reason, was still somehow just far enough outside my mental image that I saw this picture and thought "...huh, that's interesting. o_o" In a good way, though! It's sort of like how he also looks a bit different just because I've been saying long hair to every artist I've had draw him, yet you're the first to actually depict it in a way that is immediately obvious and noticeable. This is a... I think "fascinating" is the best word I can come up with for this take on him. He looks great. I love it.
