Ooh, this one is lovely! And probably my favorite picture of Celine to date. I think you made a good choice with the color selection here--it makes the whole picture seem warm and inviting (which happens to be how I described the character) in a way that's really supported and emphasized that much further by the character herself. Outstanding.
I really like the form this piece takes. ^^ I think the fingers are my particular favorite part, as well as he wonderful pants and legs. You've also done and outstanding job on the hair. I know this piece will not be completed to a new level unless the commissioner pays for it, but this is a piece that I would like to see further resolved. :) Good work, EP!
I'm... honestly not sure what else would need to be done with it; it looks absolutely phenomenal just the way it is. I guess it could be full-color instead of monochromatic, maybe? Except that, as I said above, I actually really like the effect the choice of color for this piece has on it....

Well, it's a very rough speed paint. Where as the anatomy is pretty spot on and there is enough value to begin to define the figure (although it's still a little flat), it can be cleaned up and pushed to a much more resolved finish, much like her completed works. :) That's what I mean. I didn't bother saying any of that because I know she knows haha
But I definitely see what you mean ^_^ You definitely get more than "a sketch," and you get more than your money's worth from a piece this high quality. I'd be uber excited too, if I were you ^_^ <3
