Oh man, that is one fine looking crow! His pose feels a little stiff, but I think that's okay. I really like his head and alllllll of the little details in his shirt!!

Considering that this is an incredibly cheap (fundraiser raffle ticket prices are between $5 and $1 each depending on whether you buy in bulk) "sketch" whose quality easily competes with many full-fledged pictures I've seen elsewhere, and that I specifically told the artist things that would imply stiffness twice in the descriptions (I said that, since these are concept art for characters in my novel, "just standing there" poses for all them characters are fine for me, and I also said that this character in particular tends to look and act a little blank and emotionless,) I'd say this turned out fantastically.

I agree, the shading and details are absolutely phenomenal, especially the muscle definition through the shirt. You're sure this is a sketch?

Oh well, none of your descriptions to the artist are here, so it's hard to tell whether it was intentional or not. I leave constructive comments under all of her pieces (and she's always welcomed them), so I really don't see a problem with my comment. Also, of course I know that they're cheap raffle prizes. :3 She's stated it a million and a half times. <3 However, I thank you for letting me know! ^^ Because now I know that the stiffness was intentional. :3

Omg I know XD I guess her "sketches" would be considered "speedpaints" since she really seems to do that more than actual sketching, which is just fine. She's so fantastic at it, and her speedpaints looks wonderful. It's well worth the money :) Congrats on getting it! <3 I can tell you love it x33 <3 <3

Man, I totally love it. These aren't characters I get commissioned very often... they're from my novel, and I therefore tend to want to get them all at once when I do, which really limits what I can get to the rare occasions when I see an extraordinarily good deal. (Even with really good per-character prices, it adds up because of the size of the cast... $10 for one character is something I can afford, $80 for eight is not. ) This fundraiser raffle turned out to be just the thing, though, and these "sketches" are gorgeous. It's always such a cool to see characters from your story come to life like this, especially when they turn out this well... I feel like I've already won the raffle, seriously.

Love the 'look' and the look of it ....
