i finished readin the 3rd book in the Eragon series a while back an drew this as a momento for Glaedr cause hes just that awesome XD

nice... i cant seem to ever getfaces right :/ not on a random dragon, not on a human, not even on a fish -_- i can draw bodies but not heads, any advice?

for faces i usualy try an make a face in a mirror or just look at faces online... then ill try an do a variation to it... in a way that i like an that gose with my pic ^^

the problem is.. i freedraw w/ out using a picture so i cant make a variation cuz it's an origional picture

i kno what u mean i try not to use pic exactly... thought i do use alot of reffs... one thing u could try is get a blank clear sheet of paper an do a quick ruff trace of ur pic... then practice drawling different expressions an facial features till u find one u really like

that would work... but i just cant get the shape right :/ best i usually cn do is a view from the front, i cant get a side shot or turned head style right.
