I found  sevas-tra's artwork by chance, and I liked her style straight away. It can be difficult to depict character traits and emotions in non-anthro artwork, but I feel she accomplishes this well; when I found out she was taking commissions, I thought it would be neat to have my character depicted in such a way.

While we were discussing the picture, she confirmed my impression that her artwork has a spiritual side to it. As this is of real importance to me, I thought this could make the image feel more meaningful. I'm very pleased to say that it succeeded, and I'm really happy with the beautiful end result.
