Wait a moment... I know these pony names from stories I had delighted in reading over on FiM Fiction...
Per chance is Mindset and/or Tinker a Psychiatrist / Therapist? Perhaps one, or both, have visited a most unique kingdom ruled by a very young pony who, over the course of one story, needed to have one of these character's help them to see how they needed to do things a little differently to protect their people?

Oh, I loved that story! It's the one that happens after Mindset helps the kingdom become able to choose whether-or-not they utilize the special 'Fountain of Youth' water?
