Isn't it dangerous to be on a battle while your pregnant? I guess that's why no woman ever become a warrior.

I did "pregnancy armor" in my comic strip, Carry On. Mainly as an absurd joke on how martial the hyenas are, that they would even have maternity armor.

Apparently Katherine of Aragon went to review her husband Henry's troops while heavily pregnant, and--at least in a miniseries--wore pregnancy armor.

Not all who hold a spear have to fight. She could be a guard, or simply on duty.

The US Army and Navy both have maternity uniforms now.
