Another story from
KrisSnow 's "the Night Shift Laundry" universe! This one of a guy who dreams of adventure, and gets some. As well as becoming a look alike of a certain blue vixen! I tried to focus a lot more on the aftermath of the TF rather than the change itself here. It was a lot of fun to work on!

All right, that took me way too long to get to and I can only blame China for half of the delay. Sorry.
This was really good! It's nice to see the aftermath of the TF explored in more detail and not wrapped up so easily as in most of these stories. There are some neat details like the feel of gunfire's air currents washing over fur, and it's fun having these connections to the other changed characters. The new Carter does end up starting to accept her fate but only through struggle and friendship and being shown the upside. The fan mail is also a nice touch, showing that she's not in a vacuum and people look up to her. A thing that comes to mind from there is, Carter could think, "do they admire me or just this fictional person who didn't exist until now, and does that matter to me?"

That would be a pretty interesting question to answer, and would be a good thing for Carter to decide on, so that she could take ownership of the new identity by bringing her own elements to the role instead of just trying to completely match the fictional identity that the change has set up for her. Thanks for reading, and I'm very glad that you enjoyed it!
