To other creatures they are known as Snowkin (thank you  Pinkiexneomorph277 for the name suggestion) among their own kind they are the Ikuerin (I-Kue-rin)


The Hardier, bigger, fluffier cousins to the Forestkin, also inspired by the the 'Schlech' ice unicorn toy.

These guy's kept their more kirin-like appearance then their forest cousins, their scales becoming more ice like to camouflage in the ice mazes that they create to hide from enemies/ambush prey and strangers in their dangerous environment.

Snowkin are known to be more carnivorous then their cousins, having to hunt more than scavenging for plants in there winter home, hence they have larger canines (no examples yet) as I forgot to add them in the design >.<

Though while they are considered more 'scary' than some of their relative species, they are actually the most social, and prefer to keep in contact with the locals, acting as guides and guards to the villager's they choose to live in or near.
