The wooden door swung open with a mournful creak, revealing the dust-shrouded library beyond. "Ugh, what a dump," Runescar spat as he nudged the moldy carpet with his hoof.

"The place does look, uh, negelcted," Brogan replied, "but the books look like they're still good. I'll just take a peek."

Runescar snorted in annoyance. "Are you serious? What could you possibly want to look at in there."

"They have the complete 'Epic of Lord Sola,' even the hard-to-find eighth volume!" Brogan exclaimed in elation.

Runescar half sighed, half-groaned. "Y'know kid, I'd have to kill you if I didn't owe you."
