Ah, the infamous sharpened candy cane. The best Christmas treat and worst thing to get stabbed by. This is actually inspired by true events. When I was in middle school, a group of boys had brought boxes of candy canes before winter break.

I can’t remember much of that day, only that not even an hour later, they and a few other of my classmates had sharpened the ends of the canes and, no joke, began to chase each other. It was the best thing I had ever seen. So, to commemorate that memory, I drew Phantom terrorizing his dad by chasing him around with weapons that look exactly like massive candy canes to get into the “holiday spirit.”

There isn’t much that is capable of causing fear for Abaddon, but having his son sprint at him at full speed, without warning, is single handedly the most terrifying thing he’s ever seen. (Also Enigma told him that he wasn’t allowed to make any attempts on Phantom’s life during the days leading up to Christmas. Phantom, however, didn’t get the memo).
