Those of you who follow my art Tumblr (wink wink) might recognize this one! So, back in July, my dear friend Nowendil told me about their headcanons concerning different Tolkien races and ladybugs, especially how dwarves should call them “Mahal’s cows” inspired by some real languages. Coincidentally around the same time I was reading Determamfidd's fic Sansûkh for the first time and Frerin was living in my head rent free.
It took me months to finish this piece, but here it is: small Frerin and a Mahal’s cow! He’s very excited to show it to his brother.
