Actually, I just wanted to do something different. I haven't drawn any Sonic characters. Sonic styled fan characters yes, actual Sonic characters no.
So I drew up Sonic in the traditional Mario Bros outfit. Decided to make his hat and shirt orange since orange really contrasts well with blue. Also decided to go with the thick borders like I usually do with my Mario Bros based fanart... oh, and a Bob-Omb... because I'm the Bob-Omb guy XD
