The two growled at each other, waiting to see who would make the first move. Finally the bear arched down on all fours before lunging at Shadow who reacted with a swift headbutt. Shadow then charged at the bear as it staggered backwards and leapt at it. The two engaged in a wrestling match, clawing and biting at each other. Neither ready to give in.
During the scrape Shadow managed to get a grip on the bear and with a mighty lift managed to throw the bear over. Slamming it hard into the ground with a grunt. The bear staggered up onto its feet before giving a defeated snort and ran off into the forest.
Shadow kept on guard with a loud growl until the bear was far gone before he relaxed and looked back to make sure Maria was safe.
