**PLEASE READ!**That’s the end of Oren’s Forge, Volume One! I hope you guys enjoyed it! There will be a 2-page epilogue coming over the next couple Mondays, which sets up Volume Two.
Volume Two picks up right where first leaves off. You can start reading Volume Two RIGHT NOW on Patreon! I’m posting a new page every week, already a couple months in, plus you get the 13 page side comic Oren and the One-Eyed Wolf, all for only $5.
Patreon is primarily how I am able to continue working on the comic, so if you like Oren’s Forge and want to support it, please come check it out! I’m trying really hard to keep it both affordable to support and available to folks who enjoy the story but can’t contribute. If you like independent comics and weird animal stories, give it a thought!

chapter 1 was a little long, but good.
Scale says: Character Development seems slow half star. Character interactions: full star colorful cast. Plot: Still a little vague, also goals moving, half star. World building: Only minor question of if a predator wonders "Wow this creature is talking, maybe I shouldn't eat it?" full star though. Consistency: Half star with all the flash backs.
Personal rating: 5 out of 5, scale rating 4 out of 5, but it is only the first chapter so chance to improve!

This is now my favorite online comic. Has been for some time, in fact. Congrats on finishing Chapter One (although you actually finished it some time ago), on the successful Kickstarter (*really* looking forward to getting my own copy of that, and may buy more for gifts) and on a good start on Chapter Two. Keep up the great work!
