Its so rarely lately that I get an urge to just... doodle something. And even more rare to draw it out in full detail.

Started sketching and bam, Kiuma popped out. She's not content to just in the back of my mind and let me be, she's gotta let herself be known. She's got such a big personality to her.

This doodle is unusual for the fact that there weren't a lot of times when Kiuma was really relaxed and enjoying herself... she had a hard life and a lot of things that make normal people happy, like a family and friends, she didn't have. Sure, she loved her daughters, but there was more of pride in their strength than the sort of love that makes you want to cuddle and coo over them. She had some partners, but none that she really loved any way but fiercely, protectively, and she would have died for any of them. This expression is too soft for that.

Maybe this is just a rare moment, an instant in her life after she founded her pride where she was relaxed and happy for just a moment.

Kiuma refuses to die, and while she's full of pain and anger and hatred, she's also one of my most beloved characters, with the most depth and breadth to her.
