I wanted to sketch my boys really crudely because I am looking for a commission and I need a ref sheet for them, decided to post it here with some background. I'm really using those two in my pictures recently.
I think it's a coming out for my guys - first time drawing a reference for a couple! But look at them!
I have used those two surfer/pool dudes before in extreme tickling and drain perils, but never named them. While the name of Ken was around for a while (some of my friends might remember), I decided to name the brunette guy Niko and to give him Croatian ancestry. It's a tribute for the first time I saw a happily barefoot and long-pants-wearing man in public, many many years ago in Croatia. He's definitely based on that mysterious guy who gave me a foot fetish.
