Sketch of my DiOnz unit designed by Wysdrem

I kinda did a full overhaul of my shadow void creature based on her robotic species that adapt to learn from other species in the wild. Unit 047 adapted to the ancient void creature and has become a dark energy creature able to control lightning and phase into a ghostly dark form.

I had a lot of fun doing an inverse color on this one with black background for a change and doing a night scene with this primarily dark character. The glowing effects on the claws and the fluff I think really came out well, and were actually based on a painting technique I learned doing miniature painting. It uses white primarily as the source for the light, and then a low opacity glow of a highlight color over it, and then some edge highlighting with pure white closes to the source.

It came out really well and I look forward to perfecting it again.
