Deliah wanted her new grandaughter to see her father without his sword, so Deliah confiscated it. Seth isn't wearing Alice as she wanted to take a picture, Deliah even teasing how good Seth looks in pink (Which he used to take as an insult when with the Dark Gators). Deliah told him to take a day or two away from hits and spend awhile at home, Seth often wrapped the egg in his flag to keep it warm and with his mother as a doctor, the egg was always up to date on checkups. This is Seth trying to force a smile (a real smile happened when Mana hatched). Alice and Deliah hopes Seth spends some time with her before he takes up hits again. Deliah would only return Seth's sword if he proves he can be a good assasain and father at the same time, as she wants to at least see her son crack a real smile.

Seth started looking after the egg as a favor to his old crew, but the baby eventually grew on him, so when he's not doing warlord summits or taking on hits, he's spending time with Mana on the Air Continent with his mother. Seth will unsheathe his sword if anyone does go after Mana and he may end up putting you on her.
