Ros (Pronounced "Ross,") belongs to a profession halfway between a professional athlete and matador. She's a gladiatorial prizefighter, in way.
In Cyrin, the quick adaptation of the intelligent bipeds can be partially attributed to the fact that helpless little mammals get owned hard by the larger, more primitive reptilian species.
In the early days of many Cyrinian societies, it was a test of strength and courage in hunts to engage the more threatening beasts "man-to-man," so to speak, and conquer them. They were often hunted because many of the larger reptiles were 1) a good source of meat, and 2) less likely to be poisonous. As time went on, these large-game hunts reaffirmed the belief of the bipedal beings that they were superior, and so the sport became viciously popular in some smaller countries where more predatory species threaten- or previously threatened civilized societies.
Like bullfighting, sometimes these large reptiles are still captured and used in fights-to-the-death with prizefighters like Ros, however, (as with bullfighting) some groups consider this an inhumane and unnecessary spectacle. This belief has been around for a few centuries, and as a result of that, a more "civilized" sport, akin to fencing, was developed with the same weapons; where two fighters went head-to-head in a contest of dexterity and strength.
Her weapons are traditional to the sport- I developed them as sort of a katara-gauntlet thing. (I chose not to call them "katara," in the title, because I didn't want any confusion with Avatar. Fuck that show.) The blade is conical, with one end sharpened (as in a teardrop shape.) Think about a lightweight, thin metal dunce cap strapped to your arm and hand. The most famous and devout fighters are often trained from a very young age- and many of the more famous fighters are akin to sports idols and are treated with some celebrity.
Ros herself has participated in both sports since age 10, following in the footsteps of her elder sister and father, however, since she has participated more in Gladiatorial-style contest than Fencing-style, she is a figure of some controversy among Animal Advocacy groups and is therefore more famous. She is generally well-liked in general society, though. She comes from the northeastern province of Pretija in Macaria, but has taken part in contests in many countries on her continent.

she's so cute and for real, hot. i'd tap that.
the body figure here, i'm going to be totally honest, is one of your best in my opinion. her facial structure seems just right as well -- i know she's not expressly human so it's not like i have a whole lot to judge on but it just really sits right with me. it's like, just on target. everything works like i feel it aught to, so this is a real pleasure to look at. <3
