How long did this take to create? (designing+manual labour)

Awww, thank you! Designing the metal structure of the turrets took about a week, a little over it, and designing the fabric pattern took roughly the same amount of time, though it was more mentally laborious work because of the trigonometry involved in making the blueprint. (I really need to get myself a set of French curves one of these days....) Every time I make a new turret (this is my third one), the metal frame takes about a day to make, and the fabric section a day as well. There's a lot of hand-sewing in this, which is why the sewing takes so long; it wouldn't be as time-consuming if I could mechanize most of the work but unfortunately I can't. :)

Cave Johnson here, we here at Aperture science apologize for sending you a plush instead of the real deal.
Unfortunately, it seems our delivery man's curiosity got the best of him and he decided to poke a hole in the box to see what was inside, letting our little turret buddy fill that guy up with lead. Bean Counters didn't want to send you a half loaded turret, so they figured a plush would do.
