You freeze in your place as you look up to the sky,
Your thoughts clear up and your mouth goes dry.

You watch as a black cloud rises above your head,
You tremble as you are filled with panic and dread.

You see as your world’s turns to ruble,
You watch your life waste away but you still feel humble.

You look at yourself and you ask “Why?”
Yet you fail to see the flaw in your pathetic ply.

You never thought we would be the fall of man,
You now witness how the end began.

You fall to your knees and begin to pray,
Your substance and being begin to decay,
As you still think you’re in a state of play.

Your fate is sealed and never to change
Your life is now destined to rearrange.

You ask yourself if god is even there,
But don’t you take the hint he no longer cares?
