Blue to me...more specifically light blue, represents happiness to me. Gold is 'divinity' or angelic.

So...here's a break out of my art block finally. ShadowInkWarrior gave me a doodle a while back to work off of to break through the art block that's been plaguing me for months as I couldn't figure out what the hell to draw, so they did a doodle of Athena cuddling Black Puss (my cat I got back in October) and I finally had enough creative energy to work off of it.

This cat has been paramount to breaking me out of a terrible grief cycle that hit after I had to give up my other cat Benjamin. It has plagued me, and haunted me because I still feel guilty as hell about giving him up...about being unable to care for him like I should have due to a financial situation that I'm slowly, but surely breaking out of and figuring out how to budget again and make sure I don't run out of money.

With Black Puss, who is 12 years old, my support program has stepped up to the plate in order to help me with her so I am never in the situation again where I have to give her up. It's because of her that I've still got money in my account, so I can put it away for emergencies.

I love this piece a lot...this made me so, so happy to do this and just show how much this cat means to me and how happy she makes me...how more stable I am because I have a pet in my life again. I've never been without a pet, so being without one for a while there...it affected me badly.

Anywho, I'm rambling. I'm just glad my art block is gone finally <3
