In honor of Donkey Kong December, it's the King of Swing himself! Donkey Kong Country has been yet another series I've had my eyes set on to give my usual stylized treatment to. Granted, when it comes to DK himself, there really wasn't much I wanted to change. You simply can't mess with perfection, I suppose. Also yes, the convenient placing of the tie was very much intentional. Something about Donkey Kong being a big, free-spirited nudist, complete with constant well placed censorship, while all the other characters wear some kind of clothing is just really funny to me and feel very much in line with Rare's humor!
