of course .. they are descendants of the Finno-Ugric tribes with an admixture of Turkic blood (300 years of the influence of the Tatar-Mongol yoke). in addition, they have no right to call themselves the successor of Rus (Kiev Rus). the attitude of today's Russians to (Kiev-) Russ, which was a thousand years ago, is about the same as the attitude of a guinea pig to Guinea (country).
