Here are the rules.
You must be over 18 to enter.
Every day for the next twelve days a different thing will be given away. You have (roughly) 24 hours to register to be in the prize draw before the winner is picked and the next prize draw is started.
To be in to win you MUST comment in the comment section on this picture saying
"Sign me up for the 4rd day please "
And you know what...Im gonna start getting you to work a little bit for these because seeing the same phrase 250 times is a bit monotonous for me so also if you want...tell me an interesting fact (doesnt hafta be festive and you dont have to, would just be nice to have a conversation or two cause im feeling weirdly lonely)
I will then give you a raffle number and a random number generator will pick the winner this time tomoro
If you win this prize that means you cannot win any of the other days ahead. You can not swap out prizes, once you've won you've won
So todays prize there will be 4 winners each will get a https://onesiesdownunder.com/ gift card which should get you onesie of your choice (providing its in stock and in your size) This will be sent via email (As they arent physical cards more a giftcode number to redeem against a onesie)
Again please don't apply for this prize if winning a onesie will cause issues at home. Though you could win the giftcard and then gift that to a friend or something for xmas as you will get the gift card 2moro if you win.
Anyway see you again 2moro

Also winning a boat race without water sounds tricky...was it building a boat or or..eatin banana boats in the fastest time? https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/banana-boats

We picked them up and ran with them, like The Flintstones. There were actually metal frames shaped like boats. Did it on my gap year in Australia, it was so silly but hilarious. The Henley-on-Todd it's called. It's the only boat race in the world that was cancelled because there was water in the river! ^^
And why not have a 4rd, always wondered why 1, 2 and 3 were special ^^

Interesting fact (learned from living with two biologists in University): A huge number of fruits and vegetables are botanically considered berries. This includes bananas, cucumbers, and chilli peppers. Interestingly, some of the fruits we most often think of as "berries" aren't berries in the botanical sense. Blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries are considered "aggregate fruit," instead.

6.....The geese. We dont mention the geese. Truthfully people saying "first" on my comic pages were irritating me slightly so one thing led to another I started threatening people will setting some canadian geese on them....but people then took that as a challenge and um things got a smidge out of hand
Sea hares are strictly herbivorous while nudibranch are carnivorous, though many people would probably think them omnivores forgetting that sponges and coral are animals and not plants.
If you pet a sea hare and it doesn't spray toxic sludge (white, purple or red typically) on you then it's probably quite relaxed ^^

Have you seen leaf sheep? Those are frikkin awesome and possibly one of my top favourite animals now
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFUlWL2n5LQ Its the only non-plant on the planet that can photosynthesis

They are adorable, really wish we had them in our waters (South Africa).
They aren't the only non-plant one that can, on technicality, photosynthesize. They perform kleptoplasty along with some other nudibranch species and dinoflagellates which are protists.
Think there are species that also perform kleptoplasty to take up pigments but that's a vague remembering so feel free to heap salt on that

8 I stepped on a venemous snake one time by accident. I thought i'd stepped in dog poop until it uncoiled and slithered away...turns out it was an adder... I was only 7 at the time and in the middle of nowhere up a big hill near the cairngorms. If that had bitten me, I probably wouldnt have been around today so Oops

Did you know that crows are really smart? Like they are one of the few that are self aware and are capable of plotting. Something I read a while ago that I found really awesome
on a university campus in Japan. Carrion crows and humans line up patiently, waiting for the traffic to halt.
When the lights change, the birds hop in front of the cars and place walnuts, which they picked from the adjoining trees, on the road. After the lights turn green again, the birds fly away and vehicles drive over the nuts, cracking them open. Finally, when it’s time to cross again, the crows join the pedestrians and pick up their meal.

I am pretty sure the crows around here count things. and im pretty sure ive watched a crow teach a younger crow to count things. Where big crow cawwed twice then little one repeated. Big crow then cawwed 3 times, little one repeated, big one cawwed 4 times little one repeated, big one cawwed 5 times little one only counted to 4 so messed up, big one cawwed 5 times again and waited then again and eventually little one repeated. Next day around the same time of day the process repeated. It was like they were holding a class. Crows are really clever

Well I don't need more onesies
But did you know squirrls got amazing memories and they can remember more than 1000 locations where they hide food for the winter?
Also they use similar memory tricks to humans, specifically grouping, they will have general areas for specific kinds of food (this area for nuts, this for grains) then sub areas in these for more precise location, like how you would split phone numbers , music (when playing it on an instrument) and such into smaller chunks to make it easier to remember

since you were chatting about fruit earlier, heres one, you have only ever eaten one banana in your life, because commercialy available bananas are genetically identical. only exception is if you have spent time in cuba or russia, they have a different kind of genetically identical banana
i was actually curious if you were going to continue assigning numbers the way you are, it looks like a lot of work. I would have suggested finding a mod to help you ( if FA allows it or ) 2,
ask people to assign their own numbers to posts then coming through and just correcting duplicates. im pretty sure i would be #21 or you can post your comment then edit it after the fact

21. I think it might be easier me giving out the numbers than um relying on everyone to read teh rules and assign their own number. I think that might just create bedlam hahahha Its okay its a nice 20 minute job here and there so i can unwind watch some tv whilst i give people numbers
I THOUGHT OF A FACT. Did you know that dragons on TV are always Wyverns because they model dragon movement off bats? You don’t get traditional western dragons (four legs and two wings) in big budget movies because they can’t get any animal model the movements off.
I cant think what to write so here have several dad jokes I stole from the internet:
-It doesn’t matter if you’re straight, gay, bisexual or transgender.
--At the end of the day…it’s night.
-If you're unable to hold your bladder in the Netherlands…
--…European.
And a Music Joke for ya'll musicians out there
-A B-flat, a E-flat and a G-flat walk into a bar.
--The bartender says "Sorry I don't serve minors".
Oh also, sign me up for the 4th day please thankyooou <3

i once worked at a day camp as a teen because we got a turn with the big bounce castle. we'd take turns leaning against the wall inside when 3 of us ran into the wall from outside launching whoever was inside. i'm surprised we didn't break it

Was wondering if I had missed something last time, lol. Seemed a bit simple for such a large giveaway!
Sign me up for the 4rd day please, and uuhh, Indian giant squirrels are super pretty. So are Finlayson's and Albert's squirrels. Fr, google em if you get the chance~!
A lotta people tend to think of squirrels as these like, solid gray, sometimes reddish little rodents, but they can have some outright beautiful designs!

In Britain, some people have a superstition that you can only take down your Christmas decorations on January 5th, the traditional twelfth day of Christmas, and taking down the decorations on any other day, before or after, will curse your house.

Weird fact: There used to be a guy who disapproved of advertising on websites, but knows that it gives sites money to keep going. So he protests by buying ad space and filling it with random meme/joke banners, usually linking to bizarre wikipedia pages like "Electrical disruptions caused by squirrels". I've not seen any of those recently… wonder if he's still going.

I don't have an interesting fact per se but I just want to tell you that shine has helped me understand my AB side a lot and that I respect you a lot for what you are creating "for free" for people.
Same with this nice giveaway and I wish you the best of times and hope you don't overwork yourself with all the art things you are giving away <3

Fun fact I'm gonna have to send it to a third party that can then send it to me since well, I live in country who's shipping is not available but I will enjoy the prize provided I win, of course.
Another fun fact, I feeling positive lately, even though bad things are happening I chose to focus on the good so I'll keep doing that.
