This is an entry for guava's contest.
In the contest you look through the list of magical girl names, pick one, then pick one of her four characters to transform into your rendition of that magical girl name. Plus you get complete creative freedom with your entry just as long as it looks like the character you picked in some way. How cool is that?!
The character I picked to transform into Alien Conjuress Angel was Guava simply because I wanted to do a picture that was dark and unknown yet beautiful and holy at the same time. Guava seems to have some self-esteem issues with her appearance since she has to wear an eye patch over one eye -if it's a bum eye or not is unknown to me. The only time she feels confident about herself is when she's in her magical girl form, overly confident in a sexy way in fact!
Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to transfer the feelings Guava has on the inside as a normal human into the outer appearance of this magical girl.
So what kind of magical girl is Alien Conjuress Angel?
Well I imagine she'd be one of those arcane chaotic neutral magical girls that all the other magical girls go to for help, but the only answers she gives are in the form of depressing riddles. So in the end Alien Conjuress Angel would have to show up to help save the day in all her super celestial might because nobody was smart enough to figure out the answer to the riddles.
Oh yeah, and she conjures aliens from that glowing hole in her chest; it's the only way to travel.
I really wanted to branch out from my usual style with this picture; I actually have a number of pictures that look surreal like this, but I've been too chicken to post them.
