I've mentioned before that even though I have favorites, all of the HP girls are great to me. In Aiko's case, she's one I found myself relating to a lot more than the others. It happened that I played HP during a time when I, too, was going through a prolonged rough period at my job, so her "fuck adulting" attitude definitely resonated with me. Helps that she's pretty funny, too, at least when I'm not feeling sorry for her self-created problems.

That said, the writer in me who can't leave well enough alone still wonders what happened in her past to give her that contrast. And someday, I wanna explore that myself.
