throughout the world stately trees grow to show their beauty. A mixture of dark to light browns and greens mix to create its beauty and shade.
For this piece i used brown glass chip beads, Yellow Tiger eye, Brecciated Jasper chips and New Jade chips.
Note on the New Jade: this is not REAL Jade. There are only two true Jade's in the world. One is called Jadeite and the other is Nephrite. Anything you find with the word "Jade" in quotations or what they call "New Jade" is actually Serpentine. Real Jade can be as expensive as diamonds if not more so in some cases.
This piece is only OK...its definitely not my best, but then again I have only been doing this for two weeks now so its ok for the learning curve. I think what i should have done is mixed with a darker green, such as my Dark Averturine, just for instance. I totally need a color wheel. what i was trying to do here is visualize looking up at a tree from the ground where you would see mostly trunk and branches and then some green as you look into the branches.
Look for the next piece soon!
