As Lord Commander Ossius carried out his coup in Garlen and took power, he soon started demanding certain concessions from the Republic for their presumed hostile intentions and weapon development threatening his realm. In secret, however, he aided a faction within Wyland to come to power, discrediting the former ruling party; the payment was them secretly transferring Project Black into his custody. Ossius made sure that Blake was healed, and his power further amplified. He offered Blake a deal - serve him as his elite enforcer, and he will have his revenge against those who wronged him. And then, when his work is done, he will be able to go free. But first, he had to crush the resistance, and deliver Princess Ellyria to Ossius, alive and unharmed. The rest of them, though?
