Here we have Itsy again clinging to her fragile webbing after she fell off of the glass ceiling .. again .... she managed to get down more carefull this time and din't drop all the way to the ground .. not that it would have been her first time XD She's a real cutey ^^
Whwn i was stting her back into her transport box she was even walking over my hands for a little while .. it was squite the experience being an ex archnophobic >.> If I only knew she wasn't about to sudden burst of and dash into any direction possible I'd probably let her walk over my hands more often, but I'm way too scared about sudden speedings and me crushing her whily trying to get her >.<
Anyway, is it possible that her terrarium is simply too large for her at her given size? o.o

ah shes lovely!
so long as she is comfortable and doesn't feel threatened or scared she wont run. Spiders are similar to snakes in that regard. They may not care for humans, but you become a comfortable familiar tree for them to rest on once they get used to you.
how big is she and how big is the terrarium?

Ohhh~~ I'll become a tree, that's nice :3 Yes yes, I'm aware of that, but still .. one too hasty movement, one accident breathe that catches her and she's probably off and running >.<
Sooo, Itsy's about the size of the nail of your thump (about 1cm body size) and the terra got 13*15cm base and is 25cm in height

it got something to nibble .. in her little transport box though ^^
I'm going for some leaves tomorrow and see if the ground dried out a little as well before setting her back. ^^
Oh .. and if it confuses you that I call it a her sometimes .. things got genders in the german languge, spider (spinne) got a female gender, so sometimes my language just slips on that part XD
I read that slings/spiderlings should be kept quite dry, since I was making the ground rather wet yesterday chances are she probably wanted to escape so it was a good thing to take her out none the less ^^

I have a few slings this size. Really it's better to keep them in what spider people call 'Pill Bottles'. For these guys taller = better because they are tree spiders. Here is a shot of one of ours ((Goliath Pink Toe)) in a pill bottle that's more than enough space for him. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5803478/
You basically move them as they get bigger to things more suitable. ;)

Yeah. I use dem Haribo 1Kilo pakages now for growing them before moving them into their much prettier end-vessles. I also heard that it's not 'important' to have a 10cm hight for for tree slings as long as they can climb a bit everything is fine. Most keep their slings in .. umm .. boxes that are mainly used to carry food insects till they're big enough to be moved into their own terrarium ^^
