Are they waterproof or will water make them malfunction?

More of a "he" than a "they" (as there's just the one), but sure, he's waterproof... though I don't think it's ever really come up in the stories...

What is he was struck by lightning? Will that overload his system?

wow, hmmm...
probably yes for this model. I'll have to think about the current version... that is a major jolt, after all...
however, if his shield was up, he could take one lightning bolt. then the shield would most likely break.

I assume it's similar if he got a blow to the head. Would that mess up his computer and make him glitch?

Hm, come to think of it, most times he took damage, he'd be knocked out & in need of repairs for a while after. I guess he isn't very well armored.
Then again, no robots in the Sonic franchise are armored that well, so I guess he fits in, heh.

Lol. So does that mean logic paradoxes won't affect him? Or is he still affected by those?

Only insofar as he displays an error message, but his operating system doesn't crash. Maybe it'd crash if he was met with something totally beyond belief... but given the nature of the stories he's been in so far, I'm not sure what that'd be.

I don't really use this character too often anymore though, my cast list is fairly huge and SPOT's inability to really talk is fairly impractical for my purposes.
