I'm very unfamiliar with this series, but Klonoa is very cute. I used his design from Door to Phantomile as reference! I watched some gameplay to get a sense of the character, and what struck me was that, even though his modern design is reminiscent of Sonic, Door to Phantomile reminded me more of Kirby both in gameplay and atmosphere.

He is adorable. I got into the series around 2016 when I picked up the remake on Wii, love the character and game, though I do prefer his design from 2. I think his outfit in that game is way cuter, personally.
