I wanna say i got this sketch page full of feral cloud's around 2015-2016. At the time I was still a junior in high school, and a new student had com into my Orchestra class. She went by the name Babiana. A few days later i noticed Babiana was wearing her fursona badge around her neck and it instantly caught my attention, i don’t exactly remember what we talked about other than me going "Ooo whats that???" Where she then proceeded to explain it was her fursona. I then quickly got excited and said "Omg its soo cuuute! I dont exactly have a fursona yet, but im trying to get a ref-sheet done sometime eventually." Somewhere during this conversation she showed me her sketchbook full of cute furry doodles and pieces she had done. I was instantly super amazed at how good her art was, and asked her if she could maybe help me out a bit and that id be willing to pay her. I took out my sketchbook and showed her what i was trying to work on and that i was fairly new at drawing/sketching anthropomorphic animals. She then agreed to help me out and we started to go off on what i wanted to do and what the color pallet i wanted to stay with, not exactly knowing how i wanted it to go (as per usual).
I just gave her the color pallet i wanted to go with for sure and that he had to have small blue horns on his ears.
Later that week she texted me at night and sent me the finnished ref-sheet. I was very shocked and surprised on how he came out. Mostly because i loved his outcome and i was also picturing a mostly gray fox with some white and black, but instead got a white fox with some gray and black. Cloud turned out to be better than i had ever expected and was just overjoyed that i finally had a fursona after 2 years of being in the fandom.
Babiana and i actually became very close friends and she would eventually sketch little things here and there for me and i very much appreciated all of the pieces she gave me and still do. This is one of my favorite treasures that i still keep safe to this day.
