Brook
- A fruit bat
- Born in Puerto Rico and moved to the mainland United States (specifically Florida) with her mama and aunts
- She has some Cuban in her, courtesy of her late father
- Eventually flapped her arms toward the Big Apple to study fashion & business
- She could market the hell out of a paper bag to a mogul

Lynn
- A gazelle
- Her father and mother had originally come over from Kenya to work in the tech industry in Silicon Valley, and they wound up staying permanently when they conceived little Lynn
- She hoofed it over to New York to originally pursue an education in computers like her parents, but after encountering Brook the young gazelle quickly flipped her path over to clothing
- She can crunch and punch numbers without a calculator
