Rawr. When I was a kid, I wanted to be eccentric when I grew up. ^_^
(And I was recently reminded that it is perfectly possible to be hetero without being "straight", AKA "boring")
An hour or less in openCanvas 1.1, listening to a few selections from the "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" soundtrack, on endless loop. :D

This was kinda' a response to someone sayin' on IRC that "All metrosexuals are just wannabe gays". I thought about that...ya know, I've never considered myself to be "metro". But I took dance as a kid, and I *still* dance when no-one's lookin', and my favorite color was "rainbow" (I hated to play favorites to one color! XD ), and although I now will use whichever color is appropriate to the situation, I still like them all. And I like dressing up or down or in costume, and running around the park in bare feets, and good food and good music and good people. And I have a halfway-decent design sense.
And I'm sexually attracted to females. :o Even though I'm not one of those guys that judges a person *first* on their gender, I don't see a female person and immediately think "Hm, wonder whether she'd be a good f**k". That may just be lack of experience, but I seriously doubt it. :p
...and I really DON'T see what one has to do with the other! But then again, I grew up around people of all different sexual orientations, in a church that welcomed it, so, yeah.
Quite frankly, I blame the public school system for my existing neuroses and repressions - because the openness and friendliness I could exhibit in church wasn't acceptable by most schoolkids, half of which seemed like they probably got beaten on a daily basis. :P
