You make backgrounds so easily in your artwork. :O

Thanks! The backgrounds and little details are my favorite part.

Not saying it's happening in the above, but ever have to buy a farecard and there's a queue because the other two vending machines are out of service and due to budget cuts there's no token booth clerk to help move the line along and the person at the head of the line is taking their sweet time doing their transaction, after which you finally reach the machine and no matter how fast you dip your plastic and punch the buttons, it won't do you any good because your train already came and went? :(

This is awesome, btw. It reminds me of my everyday travels.

For me, the problem is buses stuffed to the gills with people due to service cutbacks.

In this drawing, I thought of trips to bigger cities where subways are the main people movers. They're exotic to me.

This, for some reason, reminds me of the movies by Miyazaki that take place in 80s Japan, in which even when watching the movies now, things looked well-made and advanced, and the characters would walk through areas of then-everyday Japan and Western viewers would get an animated glimpse of life on the other side of the globe.

When the train comes, they all freak out and play dead. The train stops for 30 minutes at each stop in order to allow everyone to come back.

The smart ones attach a piece of paper to their shirt with their destination written on it. Departing passengers drag them on board; When they awaken, they return the favor to someone at their destination.
