Tofu grinned from across the dojo, his forked tail lashing behind him in anticipation. The thatched floor crinkled softly underneath his paws as he watched his opponent from across the way. His friend, a shiny Umbreon called Rygone, bounced from paw to paw and he readied himself to meet the Espeon's attack. They were as opposite as one could imagine, a psychic type attuned to the world around them versus a dark type who carried an inner sense of self.

With a flick of his hand, the Umbreon summoned a wisp of darkness in his hand as Tofu placed a hand against his head, a way to focus his energies.

"Ready bud?" asked the Umbreon with a flicker of light flashing from his many blue rings as he crouched low.

Tofu grinned. "Ready! ...Psychic Beam!"
