Wait. Does this "ghost" have any relation to the person trapped in the rubble on the second panel? I'm already more curious to know what is going to happen to that "ghost" regarding all this.

I think the person in panel 2 is the ghost shortly before he died. When he regained consciousness as a ghost, he briefly relived the memory of suffocating under the rubble before realizing he is now somewhere and somewhen else.

I don't think that's correct. If this is the same ghost we have been following all this time, and I do believe it is, this was the Titan's Handler, and he died in the thermo nuclear blast in his chair. He didn't drown under rubble, he was straight ashed by the blast.

Cleary its a different guy. Facial designs and body frame don't match. He is the kid that got killed from that rubble.

The thing the ghost came out of has multiple cables leading to it. Maybe this guy was a different titan operator. There were dozens of other titans in that battle, after all.
(Also, it was some sort of orbital laser bombardment, not a nuke)

And what about the guy who died, who showed him being in his chair in the first pages of this chapter and who was also the one who gave orders to his titan? I believed that the "ghost" had to do with the guy I mentioned earlier; not with this guy, which is shown in the second panel of this page trapped in that rubble.

I suspect the guy in the chair and the guy apearing to drown are one and the same folks. I could be wrong but seeing as we don't see him "drown" in the breif memory, perhaps we are seeing something that happens in the commanders past? Something he bearly escaped from that led to his life path? The reason the ghost looks young might be because of that memory flash. If he's what I think we all suspect, a recorded consiousnes from that room, a fail safe if death is iminent, or even an accident that has made a ghost in the machine, it's likly his memory's are disjointed from the trauma and his "form" reflects what he is remembering or feeling. Could be soemthing he learns to control?

It's probably about his past although I don't know; we will have to wait for more pages of this comic to be published to find out what there is about that "ghost".

We saw his ghost go into what I assume was the place where the titans were engineered. And if this is in fact still the commander, then maybe he's getting younger? He may be about to be reborn as a Titan, which would be really interesting if so.

I think he is about to become the yellow titan we have seen in a bunch of pictures, including a picture of yhe yellow titan climbing out of a vat.

That’s an interesting theory. I still think they are different people, though.

I'd completly forgotten he'd disconected himself before the blast hit. Hmmm but the corps pannel does seem to focus on his body before focusing on the ghost forming, unless its as you say another operator in that room who didn't disconect, or that wasn't his body. Was "Roshell" the commanders second name? I know his Titan called him Simon.

Hmmm, methinks we're about to get some delicious backstory.
