Despite being 8ft tall, Abott not only looked- but also felt small in the presence of the Ruler of Ruin himself, Yeenoghu, in a vision prior to defecting from the demonic gnoll patron and his clan to become the bard he is today.

ah, so this is his story... flee, or suffer. interesting! ^^ I'm sketching on a little comic that sheds light on Bongoyé and how he met Alzey, and where he got the journal of a thousand pages... and then there will be a comic showing Alzeys colourful, yet fortunately not dysfuncional, family. :)

Yeah. We had to tweak the origin story of gnolls in our universe to make them not as prone to "kill and eat everything, not necessarily in that order". In our universe, Yeenoghu was one of the children of the god of looting, rape, and arson, Jithrathrok, and the goddess of monsters, Tarkan'Nala. Yeenoghu killed his brothers and sisters, and gorged himself on their flesh, so much so that he vomited repeatedly. The first gnolls arose from his bile and the meat of his siblings.
