But yeah, so is any of that "queen in purple" stuff canon here or is this an AU where they more or less don't cause trouble? I get the impression in this one she was born like this in this context vs her taking on the cursed traits in the RPG after holding on to the eldritch manuscript long enough, so that's probably already a significant enough deviation to where I can assume things are different in this world.

I'm probably over-thinking a one off character reference it but it's a fun cameo nonetheless.

I haven't decided. Maybe they just don't get any sons, maybe they do but those don't get monster kids, maybe sons come out normal for some reason.

its what i was thinking that it only leaves the females being large beasts, a twist on the tale of beauty and the beast, a curse that cant be broken, but leaves the age old expression that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but its an unique stamp to say that they are legitmate heirs to kingdoms, dont need crowns when blood is thicker then water

She looks nothing like the character from volume 2. That's quite alright; her own design is quite magnificent in its own ways, and strictest accuracy in rendition has ruined retellings before.

But I already suspect this tale has other paths to tread, and I'm already keen to follow it.
